Ten years ago, his father died tragically in the forbidden territory of Shanjunkou, with only his uncle Yue Dechang returning alive. Ten years later, Yue Chengye hunts to support his family, only to face relentless exploitation by the Yue clan while his mother falls gravely ill with no money for medicine. Finding his father's bloodstained notebook and shell casing, he discovers the hidden deadly betrayal of that year. Led by a civet wearing his father's old copper whistle, he braves the perils of Shanjunkou, gains the protection of the giant white tiger Shanjun, uncovers the century-old ginseng king alongside his father's remains, and reveals the truth of the black-market herb heist and murder. Returning to his village, he breaks the Yue family monopoly, establishes a medicinal herb cooperative, fiercely guards the mountain forest, confronts his evil uncle, corrupt middlemen, and black-market bosses, leading the villagers to prosperity while safeguarding the mountains and justice.
