Returning to her hometown, young Lu Qinghe reopens an ancient mountain study for scholarly retreats. She invites veteran woodsman Zhou Shoushan, who knows the mountains intimately, to guide visitors in identifying wild flora. Sticking strictly to observational principles, they explain only the plants' morphology and growing environments, never picking them nor discussing medicinal uses. From repairing the courtyard and mapping tour trails to adapting to weather shifts and managing guest capacity, everyone gradually learns to honor the rhythm of the mountain forest through hands-on practice. Free from noise and bustle, the study guides all to let go of seeking fixed answers, observe closely, revere nature, and find quiet growth amidst the wilderness.
