Mountain Village Bus: Good and Evil Will Always Be Repaid
For three years, Lao Chen has driven the village shuttle every day, taking schoolchildren and elderly vegetable sellers with injured left legs to their destinations for free. Despite an unhealed old injury, he braves the rain to collect parcels and deliver umbrellas for villagers, refusing to accept fares. His son worries about him and urges him to stop, but Lao Chen explains that he only wants to make traveling easier for the villagers. One morning at the village entrance, Huang Zhiyong forcibly stuffs the aisle with a large LCD television and bottles of liquor, taking up seats. Lao Chen argues firmly for safety and fairness.
