Mountain Village Guardian, Spirit Fox Accompanies Me Into the Wilds (40 episodes)

Special forces soldier Chen Shanye fell in battle, unexpectedly waking up in the 1980s as a foolish village idiot sharing his name. At home, there was only his blind widowed mother and suffering younger sister, while a spiritual fox in the deep mountains formed a bond with him. Relying on his elite combat skills, he ventures into the mountains to gather treasures and hunt beasts, repeatedly punishing local ruffians and trespassers. Strictly honoring the ancient mountain-hunting creed to protect the forest, he single-handedly supports his impoverished family and ensures the entire village's peace.
