Returning water conservancy designer Shui Xin arrives back in Waterwheel Village. Seeing the old waterwheels dilapidated, she plans to restore them using scrap wood, transform an abandoned primary school into a restoration workshop, and organize a Waterwheel Night Tour Festival. Facing initial hesitation from master craftsman Shui Ye, online skepticism, and rain damage to materials, the project faces setbacks. United, the villagers provide antique blueprints, gather scrap wood, craft cultural creative goods, and complete safety tests. The night festival opens smoothly, handcraft workshops gain popularity, and the traditional craft finds new heirs. Livestreams touch left-behind child Xiao Shui's parents to return home for employment, establishing a waste recycling system that spins the old wheels anew to revitalize village craftsmanship and tourism.
