Deep Spring in the Brocade Bedchamber: The Concubine-Born Daughter's Plot for the Eastern Palace
Shen Zhaozhao, the concubine-born daughter of the Minister of Works' household, is reborn on the day of the Crown Prince's grandson's first-month celebration. By coincidence, her legitimate elder sister, Shen Yu'er, catches the Crown Prince's eye, and he wishes to bring her into the Eastern Palace as his consort. In her previous life, Zhaozhao strongly opposed the match, only to incur her sister's resentment and suffer a tragic death alongside her innocent child. This time, she goes along with the plan and helps her elder sister enter the palace. Carefully plotting every step, she exposes Yu'er's schemes of faking a pregnancy to win favor and secretly switching identities. Ultimately, the Crown Prince is stripped of his position for his misconduct, while Zhaozhao helps her young son ascend the throne and becomes the Empress Dowager.
