GT endurance racer Kai Mercer is demoted to reserve driver after rejecting a sponsor’s inappropriate advances. At the same time, he struggles with his father’s debt and his mother’s illness. On an anonymous platform, Kai begins an intimate relationship with a mysterious man named Nox, unaware that Nox is Adrian Cross, the team’s new owner and a four-time world endurance racing champion. As Kai gradually falls for both sides of Adrian, the secret draws them into a dangerous conflict over trust and power. When the truth comes out, Kai breaks things off with Adrian, feeling deceived and troubled by the conflict of interest. After a kidnapping, debt-collection demands, investigations in the racing world, and an ethics hearing, the two finally reconcile, and Kai earns a full-time endurance racing seat with the manufacturer’s team.
