My coworker Lin Xiaoya generously treats the whole team to a Mid-Autumn banquet: premium liquor, seafood, and a gift box for everyone. The meal comes to 86,000. But at checkout, she pulls out my membership number, hoping to quietly swipe 83,000 from my card while I'm there. I saw through her scheme long ago. The payment password is wrong twice, the room falls silent, and she, so smug a moment ago, panics in front of everyone. One membership card exposes the nastiest scheme in the office. Want me to foot the bill? Then let's see who ends up unable to save face.
