My Dad Has Yielded for Half His Life, I Won't Yield Anymore
My father has spent half his life yielding to others, only to have his grain trampled, his home blocked, and our ancestral threshing ground and granary claimed by the Zhou family as their so-called 'three-generation family property.' When Lin Zhixia returns to her hometown and witnesses her father being humiliated, she immediately tears down the red silk at the celebration and declares that even if the Zhou family has claimed it for thirty years, it still doesn't belong to them! From reclaiming the granary and repairing the family home to exposing forged documents, she refuses to back down even an inch. The Zhou family tries to pressure her with business deals and force her to bow down in the name of old ties. She settles every old score, one by one, and takes back the houses and land that were stolen from the Lin family. When her father finally stands tall after a lifetime of swallowing his anger, she simply says, 'Our land is where we dry our grain. My dad has yielded for half his life. This time, I won't yield!'
