On her eighteenth birthday, Zhao Xiaoman is publicly humiliated by Zhou Hao, who fabricates complaint reports to force her to kneel and apologize. Xiaoman's father, Zhao Taishan, appears to be merely a quiet butcher, yet he fiercely protects his daughter. When the Zhou family brings heavyweights to intimidate them, the city's most powerful moguls instantly drop to their knees upon seeing Zhao Taishan. In truth, he is the legendary "One-Blade Zhao," founder of Dingsheng Group, who retired nine years ago. Facing old grudges, he resolves them with justice and refuses to return to business, choosing instead to open a butcher shop near his daughter's college to remain an ordinary, protective father.
