After his wife passed away from an illness, plumber Zhou An moved into the cheapest two-bedroom apartment in the neighborhood with his eight-year-old daughter, Xiao Mi. Little did he expect that a female ghost really lived in the apartment. Unable to drive her away and unable to afford the breach-of-contract fee to move out, he could only make a three-point agreement with her, paying her in incense and joss paper to work as their "ghost nanny." A ghost-fearing father, a fearless daughter, and a female ghost overflowing with maternal love were forced to live together, turning haunted house antics into heartwarming companionship. Yet, the ghost nanny always adds two spoonfuls of sugar when cooking, hides the remote control in the rice jar, wrings towels two and a half turns backward, and even her handwriting and lullabies resemble Zhou An's late wife more and more. Just as Zhou An hesitates to confirm her true identity, her figure begins to fade away.
