Su Qingci, the daughter of the wealthiest man, is ambushed by bandits on her wedding journey. Instead of panicking, she falls at first sight for the bandit leader, Murong Yan, shamelessly flirting with him and professing her love like an unbridled rogue. In truth, Murong Yan is an undercover officer who deliberately keeps his distance. Refusing to wed, Su Qingci breaks off her engagement and chases him all the way to Rongcheng, renting a place nearby to cling to him, sneaking into his bedroom, and coquettishly teasing the stoic officer. Faced with her bold and passionate advances, Murong Yan is frequently flustered yet unable to hide his growing affection. Bound by no rules, this lovestruck heiress slowly melts the heart of the undercover agent in a hilarious and sweet romance of contrasts.
