Chen Jiu, a hunter living deep in the mountains, rescues Su Qingyan, a corporate CEO who has fallen off a cliff while fleeing enemies seeking revenge. Highly skilled in combat and upright in character, he is hired as her bodyguard, establishing one firm principle: he will protect her personal safety but will not participate in business schemes or corporate framing. When their adversaries, Dong Tiancheng and Zhao Chongshan, resort to commercial blockades, kidnapping, and coercion, Chen Jiu stands by his principles and uses his extraordinary abilities to overcome every crisis, protect Old Master Su, and thwart the villains' conspiracies. Uninterested in the wealth and luxury of the powerful, he takes fame and fortune lightly. Su Qingyan also leaves behind the glitz of the business world, and together they settle in the mountains, helping develop the local community and demonstrating the admirable virtues of keeping promises, honoring one's word, and choosing the path of goodness.
