Unemployed girl Xiao Yi accidentally joins the Red Star Community pet chat group and unexpectedly gains the ability to understand the inner thoughts of cats and dogs. She opens a pet store, helps them find owners, untangles misunderstandings, and hears many secrets hidden behind the human world. Until late at night when she encounters danger, that orange cat who always said he would protect her lets out a long roar, summoning a whole street's worth of cats—turns out, the furry children she gently caught are also desperately protecting her.
