My Strategist, Su Yan, Keeps Giving Terrible Advice, But It Works Amazingly Well
The veteran Chancellor Su Yan has become so powerful that he threatens the throne, making the new emperor wary of him. His old strategists can only advise him to keep his head down and stay out of trouble. Then Helan Qing arrives at the residence as a new strategist, offering absurdly bad ideas: publicly weeping while resigning from office, raising chickens in the residence, and smearing snot on the imperial pillars. Though these schemes seem ridiculous, they turn the perceived threat of a powerful minister into a joke, repeatedly easing the emperor's suspicions. What looks like a collection of terrible ideas is actually an unconventional survival strategy. Absurdity dismantles political intrigue as the lord complains furiously and the more seriously the strategist speaks, the more chaotic everything becomes. Packed with jokes and clever twists, this is a lighthearted tale perfect for enjoying with a meal.
