My Wife, Her Entire Family Are Spider Demons
Ordinary young man Lu Ming saves Zhu Yun, and the two get married. His friend Hao Yong, claiming to understand Taoist arts, discovers numerous strange details and concludes that Zhu Yun is a spider demon, giving Lu Ming various props to test his wife, causing many hilarious mishaps. Lu Ming follows Zhu Yun back to her old rural home and meets her three sisters. The eldest sister, Zhu Hong, is displeased with Lu Ming for suspecting her sister, so she teams up with the youngest sister, Zhu Qian, using the "Spider Woman" legend to scare Lu Ming and Hao Yong, while the second sister, Zhu Yu, occasionally eases the situation in secret. After a terrifying night in the backyard, the truth is revealed—the Zhu family has raised silkworms and woven silk for generations, fabricating the spider demon rumors to protect themselves, and the red thread on Lu Ming's body was merely a silkworm silk allergy.
