Single mother Ling Wei offers a generous salary to hire nanny Liu Mei to care for her daughter Lin Le'an, who suffers from bipolar disorder, is mute, and has physical disabilities. While appearing gentle and attentive on the surface, Liu Mei harbors sinister motives. After discovering a concealed secret room inside the storage area, she secretly smuggles in her debt-ridden husband, Wang Dayong, plotting to take over the multi-million dollar property. Unable to speak, Lele can only use her paintbrush to document the couple's evil deeds, but her drawings are repeatedly destroyed by Liu Mei. The couple brazenly squander Ling Wei's wealth, bully and intimidate Lele, and even conspire to harm both mother and daughter.
