National Day Golden Week, They Forced Me To Sign An Absolute Fairness Agreement
During the National Day Golden Week, part-time worker Li Hao incited the head chef, foreman, and veteran employees to force owner An Xi to sign an "absolute fairness agreement," demanding that wages, commissions, and workload be divided completely equally. An Xi turned the tables by adding a "responsibilities are also divided equally" clause. As a result, the restaurant fell into chaos: Li Hao refused to carry plates, expensive wine was smashed, and customer complaints spiked. Li Hao even started a live stream to spread rumors and incite a strike. An Xi produced complete surveillance footage and a lawyer's letter, clearing the scene on the spot. In the end, Li Hao was sentenced to prison for extortion and defamation, and Chef Wang and Sister Zhang also reaped what they sowed. Instead, the restaurant won a Michelin star. An Xi announced new rules: more work yields more pay, and earning meals through genuine ability is true fairness.
