Qin Jie was originally just the home-court DJ for the Chinese professional basketball league, but a controversy got him fired. When he opened his eyes again, he had transmigrated into a Chinese undrafted rookie on the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2006 NBA, stuck managing the water cooler and always on the verge of being cut. At the crucial moment, he activated the Opponent Chinese Basketball League System, which reduces every superstar matched up against him to a pitiful level of play. From shutting down Bryce and delivering a spectacular block against DeWalt to dominating Duncan, Blake, and Dirk Nowitzki, Qin Jie relies on defense, three-pointers, and system upgrades to rise from an undistinguished bench rookie to the league's new king.
