Reborn in 1980 on the Bashang Plateau, Chen Jianjun returns to the very day of his engagement and decisively calls it off. He rescues Yinya, the White Wolf King, from an icy river. After the wolf king acknowledges him as his master, he brings his pack to help Chen dig for wild ginseng, raise sheep, and establish factories.
