On New Year's Eve, to save face, the mother-in-law throws a lavish banquet and demands that her three sons-in-law split the bill equally, costing 10,000 yuan per person, even publicly forcing the male lead, Lin Yi, to admit fault. Lin Yi can bear no more and demands a divorce, only to be locked inside a room by the Zhou family. After managing to break free, Lin Yi seeks legal action to protect his rights and unites with the elder two sons-in-law, who have also long been exploited by the Zhou family. The three gather evidence and support each other, ultimately resolving the property and marriage disputes, breaking free from the toxic family dynamic, regaining their dignity and careers, and beginning new lives.
