Nian's Homecoming: Unexpected Tenderness in Wind and Snow
After three years away, Chen Nian drives home alone. As heavy snow blocks her way, she encounters a series of kind strangers: a noodle shop owner, Lao Zhou from a repair shop and his granddaughter Xiao Duo, a traveling musician named A Bin, and Auntie Li at the village entrance. Through hot water, thoughtful reminders, folk songs, and heartfelt warmth, they help her endure a freezing night on an icy mountain road. Along the way, Chen Nian gathers little fragments of kindness from strangers, gradually letting go of her emotional burdens. She finally makes it home and reconciles with her mother. During the Lunar New Year, she revisits everyone who helped her along the journey and treasures all the keepsakes they gave her.
