Fisherman Lin Jianhai picked up a little girl, Bao'er, by the seaside, who possesses clear-seeing eyes that can see right through the seabed and mud. With this special ability, Lin Jianhai started from a broken wooden boat, catching top-grade seafood, opening a live seafood restaurant, building an ocean-going fleet, and leading the whole village to prosperity. Facing unscrupulous fish merchants and suppression from capital, he turned dangers into safety time and again, ultimately becoming a legend of the East China Sea.
