On the Day My Wedding Dress Was Ruined, Mother-in-Law Came
Su embroidery artisan Su Yi'an marries Lu Shiyan, the heir of the Lu Group. Everyone fears the cold and strong-willed mother-in-law Zhou Muyun. At the engagement banquet, the round fan meticulously embroidered by Su Yi'an is given the cold shoulder, and everyone advises her that her mother-in-law is hard to get along with. At the wedding, the husband's childhood friend Shen Qingyao arbitrarily alters the wedding, ruins Su Yi'an's Su embroidery wedding dress which took three years to make, and even intends to drink the nuptial wine with the groom. At the critical moment, Zhou Muyun domineeringly protects her daughter-in-law and slaps Shen Qingyao in the face. The outwardly taciturn mother-in-law hides her partiality in actions, silently supporting Su Yi'an's Su embroidery career.
