Don't Steal My Jiangxi Stir-Fry Restaurant
Seeing that Yang Xiumei's Jiangxi stir-fry restaurant was thriving, the landlord forced her to move out of the old shop she had run for eight years in order to collect an annual rent of 140,000. Peng Zhigang and Ma Cuifang took over the prime shop, thinking they could steal diners relying on location and low prices, but cut corners to save costs and even hired people to frame others. Eventually, the conspiracy was exposed, the shop closed down, and the once-thriving shop was deserted. With the help of her son-in-law Zeng Mingyuan, Yang Xiumei moved across the street, insisted on fresh ingredients and solid portions, and won back diners with her craftsmanship and integrity. Faced with the landlord's invitation back for a rent of 70,000, she firmly refused, having long since walked out her own path of survival.
