New Year's Eve, This Table I Flipped
On Chinese New Year's Eve, Gu Nuan prepares sixteen dishes, but her mother-in-law follows old customs and does not let her sit at the main table. Her husband Han Ye steps forward to protect Gu Nuan, and long-standing family conflicts are thus revealed. The mother-in-law suddenly suffers a cerebral hemorrhage, and the high treatment costs oppress the whole family with hardship.
