After veteran production coordinator Xu Chuan guarded the logistics of the film and television base for many years, sparked by lighting technician Lao Zhou being publicly humiliated by Lao Chen Fast Food—a partner of six years—for asking for an extra spoonful of green vegetables, he resolved to break Lao Chen's default monopoly and open the crew's work meals to competition. Merchants such as Fang Ji won the recognition of frontline employees through dedicated service, while Lao Chen continuously lost customers due to cost-cutting. Faced with accusations of bias, Xu Chuan proved his innocence with real order data and grassroots testimonies, established transparent supplier competition rules, restored the dignity of dining for ordinary workers, and ultimately caused Lao Chen to reflect, reform, and start anew.
