80-Year Powerful Daughter-in-law Marries In, The Second Branch Turns the Tables to Be the Decision Maker
In an 1980s coastal fishing village, modern aquaculture researcher Lin Chunlan travels through time and becomes the Zhang family's new daughter-in-law. Shortly after her wedding, her husband's family sets their sights on her dowry fishing boat. With an overbearing grandmother, a scheming aunt by marriage, and a spineless husband, Chunlan refuses to put up with their bullying. She protects her fishing boat, fights for her share of work points, and supports her younger sister-in-law's education, while her own brothers come to lend a hand. When the Zhang family tries to force her into submission by threatening to split the household, Lin Chunlan turns the tables and agrees to separate. She takes only her fishing boat and a muddy tidal flat that nobody else values. Relying on her professional knowledge, she ventures out to sea to catch fish and transforms the tidal flats into productive aquaculture farms. Before long, she builds a thriving life of her own.
