After unexpectedly traveling into the 1970s, Xu Wantang initially wanted nothing more than to live peacefully with her space. Little did she know that on her very first day sent to the countryside, she would encounter Zhou Sinian, a man everyone feared. While others could not avoid him fast enough, she dared to feed him, teach him the rules, and even turn him into her strongest partner. One looks delicate and sweet but is actually quite crafty; the other looks fierce but listens only to her. From cautiously testing each other to building a life side by side, they stockpile grain, venture into the mountains, and take on troublesome relatives and troublemakers. Together, they turn their difficult little life into a lively one and become the 'unhinged couple' that no one in the village dares to provoke.

Depois de viajar inesperadamente para a década de 1970, Xu Wantang só queria viver tranquilamente, aproveitando o seu espaço pessoal. Contudo, logo no primeiro dia em que chegou ao campo, encontrou Zhou Sinian, um homem cujo nome aterrorizava toda a gente. Enquanto os outros mal conseguiam evitá-lo, ela teve a coragem de lhe dar comida, ensinar-lhe as regras e até transformá-lo no seu parceiro mais forte.
