Reborn at the moment when her mother falls gravely ill and Gu Mingzhu first steals her prescription, Gu Qingyue resolves to take revenge. Thanks to a special ability, Gu Mingzhu can always replicate Gu Qingyue's prescriptions. But Gu Qingyue lays trap after trap, exposing her rival with half-prescriptions, textual loopholes, and hidden tricks involving medicinal properties. When a plague breaks out in the city, Gu Mingzhu steals a fake prescription at the imperial palace's great medicinal orchid assembly, nearly poisoning everyone.
