The Immortal Sect, Live-in Son-in-Law - Season 2
Ordinary man Lu Ye has spent two lifetimes hoping only for a peaceful home. After six hard years in another world, he finally builds a small courtyard by the river, only for it to be flattened by Xuan Dou, the Immortal Venerable of the Qingyun Sect, during a magical battle. To compensate him, the Immortal Venerable offers him a marriage arrangement. Lu Ye passes over the exceptionally beautiful and talented second daughter and chooses the eldest daughter, Xuan Wanqing, who is honest and plain. He even pulls a handcart carrying the Immortal Venerable along the way, leading to one hilarious mishap after another. The Holy Son, who admires the second daughter, offers a fortune to exchange the marriage arrangement, only to end up giving Lu Ye a spiritual island. After their marriage, Wanqing's long-sealed, supreme Zixiao Ice Spirit Root awakens, and she is forcibly taken away by the Tianlan Ice Clan. Lu Ye ventures alone into the Abyss of Ten Thousand Demons, obtains a divine devouring brick, and cultivates relentlessly, transforming himself despite his inferior Five-Element Mixed Spirit Root. He vows to break into the Ninth Heaven Ice Clan, bring his beloved home, and protect their little family.
