The Great Ming's First Imperial Brother-in-Law: Wind and Clouds Rising
A modern medical graduate accidentally travels back to the second year of the Hongwu era, becoming the down-and-out little Taoist priest Ma Buqi at Zizhu Temple. Wanting nothing more than to roast sweet potatoes and lie flat in peace, he is forcibly dragged into the imperial palace by the Jinyiwei to treat the critically ill Empress Ma. At a life-or-death moment, he activates the Great Ming National Fortune Modification System, saving the empress with modern medical skills, only to discover he is Empress Ma's long-lost younger brother, soaring to become the Great Ming's Imperial Brother-in-Law and Imperial Protector. Eager to slack off, he is forced to face court turmoil, using surgical skills to cure Chang Yuchun and Xu Da, pulling out a microscope to overturn ancient perceptions, and joining forces with Shen Wansan to launch a commercial empire. Watch how the salted-fish imperial brother-in-law uses modern knowledge to stir up the winds and clouds of the Great Ming.
