The Barbershop Downstairs Argues Every Day
Gu Jianing originally worked as a hairdresser in the county town. Because her father Gu Jianguo's old barbershop, which had been operating for many years, was squeezed out by the low-priced quick-cut shop next door and was on the verge of closing, she had no choice but to return to Qinghe Town to help her father guard the shop. The father and daughter, one insisting on old craftsmanship and caring about face, and the other advocating new aesthetics and emphasizing service, argued endlessly on the first day of opening due to different business philosophies. From competing with each other to fighting side by side, the father and daughter finally won back customers with craftsmanship and sincerity, and also made the god-like "quick-cut shop" of Zhou Facai begin to understand that doing business is not only about making money, but also about being worthy of everyone who sits in the barber's chair.
