The Secret in the Daughter-in-law's Bridal Room
Gao Yang and Yun Zhi get married. Yun Zhi asks for no bride price; her only requirement is to bring her father along to marry into the Gao family. On the wedding day, the person sitting in the bridal sedan chair is not the bride Yun Zhi, but her father. After the marriage, Yun Zhi puts forward an even more outrageous request: under the pretext that her father is ill, she demands that the sunnier and more comfortable bridal room be vacated for her father to live in alone, and requires Gao Yang to catch snakes and extract gallbladders every day to cure her father. But strangely enough, for three years Yun Zhi has not allowed Gao Yang to see his father-in-law!
