My Family's Drying Ground Is Not a Shortcut
Thirty years ago, the Zhao family received help from the Chen family, allowing them to settle down and make a home. Who could have imagined that after the Zhao family's fortunes improved, they would continually overstep their boundaries, polluting the Chen family's drinking water source and gradually encroaching on the surrounding forests and land? When a younger member of the Zhao family prepares to get married, they even intend to use the Chen family's grain-drying ground free of charge to host a lavish wedding banquet. Chen Maisui, a young man who has returned to his hometown, sets aside impulsive reactions and calmly handles the situation with complete land ownership documents, relying on the village collective and relevant regulations. Step by step, he resolves the crisis. After the Zhao family repeatedly causes trouble, they ultimately pay the price for their misconduct. The Chen family successfully reclaims their rightful forest and farmland. They move to higher, sunnier ground, build a new home, and through their own hard work, gradually improve their lives and welcome a peaceful, prosperous and happy future.
