The Old Times in the Patchwork Quilt
Garment pattern maker Xi Xiangning resigns and returns home, stumbling upon her mother cutting open a patchwork quilt about to be exhibited. The fabric inside the old quilt is decayed, and the exhibition plan falls into crisis. To preserve the old fabric and fulfill her mother's wish for a set design, the whole family joins forces to start repair and creation. Piece by piece, old textiles reveal past moments and make them understand each other's hidden wishes. Overcoming material errors, repeated reworking, and other difficulties, the old fabric matched with new patterns is successfully exhibited. Xi Xiangning rediscovers her original intention for design, her mother gets her wish to have a signed work, and the family also learns to understand and share with each other.
