Yin Eyes Draw Talismans, I Begin a Long Life at the Coffin Shop
Li Chang'an, born with Yin Eyes, has been able to see ghosts and spirits since childhood. A Taoist master determines that he is burdened by the blood debts of his ancestors and will not live past the age of twenty. He lives in seclusion at a coffin shop, drawing spiritual talismans to prolong his life, but every time he performs a spell, he sacrifices some of his own lifespan. After his parents pass away and a black talisman appears, Yan Chixing, the lingering soul of a demonic cultivator sealed within it, emerges and teaches him orthodox talisman techniques. Together with Gu Qinghan of the Heavenly Sword Sect, he ventures into various perilous places and uncovers a conspiracy involving the cultivation of a myriad-soul Gu, in which three generations of people have been used as sacrifices. Together, they break the formation, settle old grudges, forge a Yin-binding pact, and plant locust trees throughout the land, using talismans to redeem fellow practitioners trapped in darkness.
