Eight Years a Nanny, All for Nothing: A Lottery Ticket Rewrites My Remaining Life
Retired teacher Shen Cuizhi spent eight years of her life giving up her beloved career to willingly act as a free nanny for her son's family, exhausting her pension and her late husband's pension, pouring all her heart and soul into her children and grandchildren. Yet when she was diagnosed with a critical illness urgently needing life-saving money, she was drained of her savings and swept out the door on a heavy snow day. But her luck turned around; a lottery ticket obtained as debt repayment allowed her to win the grand prize. She went incognito to treat her illness and heal her wounds, picking up her youthful dreams again. Facing the greedy and insatiable entanglement of her son and daughter-in-law, having deeply tasted the coldness of family affection, she finally broke free from her shackles, starting a brand-new old age living only for herself.

Sin embargo, cuando le diagnosticaron una enfermedad peligrosa que necesitaba urgentemente dinero para salvarle la vida, fue despojada de sus ahorros y echada a la calle en un día de intensa nevada.
