Unpopular on Dating Variety, This CP Is a Bit Weird - Season 1
B-list celebrity Su Mu participates in a dating variety show, intending to play the role of being disliked by everyone, with his heart solely set on quitting the entertainment industry at lightning speed. However, his partner Shen Xingruo has a quirky train of thought, and always manages to interpret Su Mu's deliberately mischievous, greasy, and slacking actions as strengths in various ways. Su Mu tries hard to create awkwardness, but repeatedly crashes and burns. His talent stage hits the mark by accident to win first place, his haunted house date ends up scaring the NPC to tears, and he even takes Shen Xingruo to the court to observe a trial. With one person desperately wanting to get eliminated and the other wildly cheering them on in fancy ways, this absurd and hilarious Sesame Oil CP unexpectedly goes viral. Amidst a series of absurd yet warm interactions, Su Mu's plan to quit the industry retreats step by step, and the two also gradually develop unusual romantic feelings amidst their bickering.
