On the Day of Entering the Door, He Stepped and Broke My Master's Knife
Artisan Xu Zhengliang was invited to restore a precious Qing Dynasty folding screen. Upon starting work, he suffered harassment from Zheng Zhigang, and the carving knife left by his master was stepped on and broken. During the restoration period, Feng Jianye colluded with Zheng Zhigang to plot against the cultural relics, setting up multiple traps and interference, and even stealthily replacing screen components. Relying on his solid craftsmanship and extraordinary memory to gather clues, Xu Zhengliang publicly exposed the conspiracy of counterfeiting and replacement at a birthday banquet, helping the Zhou family recover the genuine item. He steadfastly adhered to the original aspiration of an artisan, valuing righteousness over wealth, and his son also resolved to inherit the craft, interpreting the artisan spirit that "craftsmanship relies on conscience".
