On the Day of Faking Bankruptcy, the Ex-Wife Came Knocking
Qin Yu, head of Jinxiu Group, makes a bet with a friend and sends a bankruptcy text message simultaneously to his current wife, Jiang Ruxue, and his ex-wife of five years, Guan Lan. Jiang Ruxue immediately leaves with their child, while Guan Lan rides over on an electric bike and thrusts into his hands a bank card she has saved for years. Moving into her cramped rented room, Qin Yu discovers she is single-handedly taking care of her elderly, ailing father. Until at that high-society banquet, the masked mastermind slowly takes the stage — Jiang Ruxue steps forward and rips off the mask, leaving the entire hall in silence.
