To appease the true young master Shen Mingheng, the Seventh Princess Xiao Zhaoning actually forged an imperial decree of treason, tricking her fiance Shen Yanci and all the men of the Shen family into the imperial prison. The men of the Shen family, rather die than suffer humiliation: the grandfather crashed into a pillar, the father hanged himself, the brother-in-law jumped into a well, and Shen Yanci swallowed poison and died. When they brought hot porridge to fetch people, they only received a carriage full of corpses. The fake imperial decree brewed a true tragedy, the Empress was furious, and the criminals faced the law. Shen Yanci's soul returned to the Yellow Springs, and in the next life he only wishes to be himself, no longer being sensible and yielding for anyone.
