In a body of water severely damaged by human destruction and murky with turbid water, a greedy little fish named Yao'er abruptly wakes up with scars. He follows the elderly fish king Qing Ge, who bears three scars. From initially timid, cowardly, and flinching from trouble, he gradually gathers the courage to step forward, leading his companions to guard their home and awakening his kind to jointly protect the waters they rely on for survival. As the ignorant young fish grows into a new generation of leader, this tribulation-tested body of water finally sheds its turbidity, regains its clarity, and recovers its past vitality and vigor.
