Lin Jiumiao, a cat-corpse-driving Taoist priest of the Maoshan Sect, and his mouse disciple A Fu encountered a mutated cat while escorting cat-corpse clients along the way. The feline fiend snatched away one of the clients, seemingly concealing a larger conspiracy behind its actions. Tracking it all the way to Li Family Town, Lin Jiumiao finally eliminated the cat fiend. However, the turmoil was far from over—on their return journey, they discovered that an "extra" cat-corpse client had appeared in their procession.
