I, the Emperor! I Beg You All to Impeach Me!
A modern-day audit manager unexpectedly finds himself reincarnated as Xiao Jingheng, a young emperor with only one hundred days left to live. Desperate to survive, he activates the long-lost ancestral Twelve Articles of Imperial Impeachment, insisting that all his officials list his crimes. All he wants is to accumulate twelve charges, abdicate the throne, and escape with his life. He deliberately makes one disastrous decision after another, hoping to condemn himself and tarnish his own reputation. Yet, by a series of unexpected twists, he repeatedly uncovers corruption and major scandals within the imperial court, purges the government, and improves the lives of ordinary people. Instead of losing his throne, he ends up securing it even more firmly. Meanwhile, Shen Guanshan, the Grand Chancellor, seizes every opportunity to frame him, incite public unrest, and orchestrate a military coup, tightening the noose around him at every turn. Xiao Jingheng overcomes each crisis, investigates corruption, quells rebellions, and protects his people and empire. With unwavering sincerity and a remarkably clear mind, he ultimately carries out the most extraordinary act of imperial self-judgment.
