Lin Fei promptly reclaimed every gift he had given her, leaving her with absolutely nothing. As he reinvestigates the events of that fateful year, Lin Fei discovers that his true savior was Su Wan, the adopted daughter who had been driven out by the Su family. He fiercely protects Su Wan, deals with the provocations of the Su family and the Black Dragon Chamber of Commerce, purges corruption within the Dragon Sect, and humiliates one villain after another.
