Out of Kindness, I Let a Colleague Ride Along, but She Actually Wants My Mother Out of the Car
During the National Day holiday, Qin Jia prepares to drive her mother back to their hometown. Her colleague Liu Mei begs for a ride along the way, promising it will be just her and one suitcase. But on the day of departure, Liu Mei unexpectedly brings her husband and son, packs the trunk to the brim, and publicly arranges for Qin Jia's own mother to take a long-distance bus to make room. After being sternly refused, the family directly seizes the driver's seat, forcing the mother and daughter out of the car. Qin Jia refuses to budge an inch, only to discover this is merely the beginning—tampering with duty rosters, spreading rumors in the village, slashing tires, and fabricating reports, every move is fatal. She finally understands that kindness must carry a bit of an edge.
