During a severe drought and famine year, three-year-old little girl Jiang Yangyang is picked up by Guixiang's family. The koi jade pendant on her chest conceals spiritual power, allowing her to understand the voices of water veins, fish schools, and seeds. Yangyang leads her family to dig sweet springs, plant spiritual vegetables, raise fish ponds, and seek medicinal herbs, while also saving the wolf cub A-Hui.
