Pact of the Ashen Star
《Pact of the Ashen Star》 tells the story of Gu Chenzhou, a young man who awakens an unknown bloodline and becomes entangled in a Star Gate crisis after forging a contract with the mysterious Ashen Heaven Mystic Fox. By borrowing the fox's power, he can burn away the Soul-Eater Clan, whose members devour memories, but doing so comes at the cost of his own memories gradually fading away. To protect Dongling City, he ventures deep into Ashen Canyon alongside Shen Zhiwei and Xu Tianjiao in search of the Main Star Stele and the truth behind the war that took place thirty years ago. When the seal demands that a soul be burned away completely, Gu Chenzhou still chooses to step forward. Although the crisis is temporarily quelled, four scattered Star Steles, an unfulfilled contract, and secrets yet to be revealed all foretell that the true trial has only just begun.
