Palace Intrigue System, I Abandon the Emperor's Favor and Seize the Empire
Lu Qiluo and her younger half-sister both receive a points-based system. While her sister indulges in beauty and imperial favor, Qiluo exchanges her points for strategists and weapons, quietly biding her time deep within the imperial palace. The emperor is fickle, and the harem's power struggles never cease. Having no intention of competing for his affection, she uses the Cold Palace as a refuge from disaster. With the system, she gradually gathers financial power in Jiangnan and iron cavalry in the northern frontier, secretly joining forces with Fu Shouqian, a noble family's orphan living under the alias Xiao Fuzi. Enduring humiliation, she systematically dismantles the power of the imperial throne and aristocratic clans. When the time is right, she raises an army, overthrows the old dynasty, and establishes the Great Ning Dynasty. After ascending the throne, she establishes imperial examinations for women and abolishes political marriages, allowing women to serve at court and defend the frontiers. Her half-sister, trapped by love, eventually loses her mind and spends the rest of her life in madness. Qiluo, meanwhile, relinquishes her power and travels across the land. With her own strength, she breaks the shackles of patriarchy and writes a legendary tale of a phoenix ruling the world.
